A little over a year ago, music mogul Sylvia Rhone announced “Vested In Culture,” her own record label as part of a joint venture with Epic Records. Artists on the roster included Kat Dahlia, Casey Veggies and more, and now the former Universal Records executive and Epic have reached an even bigger deal – Sylvia is now president of the label. In her role, she’ll be working in conjunction with CEO LA Reid, and VIC will remain with them.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to expand my relationship with the talented team and the amazing artists at Epic,” Sylvia said in a statement. “What makes this opportunity different from any other is my partnership with renowned music executive L.A. Reid. I’m looking forward to what I think will be the finest chapter in my career.” Congrats!
