IFWT_Graham goal post dunk

The NFL has been nicknamed the No Fun League due to the constant rules they apply to players restricting things that make the game fun.  From the banning of props and celebrations deemed “unsportsmanlike” it seems like the players are rarely allowed to be happy about their big plays.  The latest proposal is to ban the popular goal post dunk.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the NFL currently is considering banning the practice of dunking the ball over the crossbar.

While not a formal proposal of the Competition Committee or any of the 32 teams, the topic is expected to be raised during the NFL’s annual meetings, which open Monday in Orlando.

The problem with the goal post dunk is the players can sometimes bend the crossbar delaying the game while maintenance workers fix it back to it’s normal form.  I can see why this would be a problem but at this point it feels like we’re heading towards the players not even being able to smile…
