There’s one thing James Harden didn’t account for when he signed a five-year, $80 million contract with the Houston Rockets. Sure he enjoys finally being the star of the team instead of the sixth man, and we’ve all seen the beautiful women he now has access to but there’s of course a downside to it all.
Most people are happy to finally be able to provide for themselves and their families but it’s not all great. There’s “family members” and “friends” who came crawling out of the woodwork. There’s people who constantly demand money and become upset if you finally say no. There’s people who alienate you because they say you’ve changed.
Harden took to his Instagram account to express how he felt.
