Kanye West is known for lashing out on those who laugh at him rather than with him, so when James Franco and Seth Rogen recreated Ye’s ‘Bound 2’ with their twist, you would expect for all hell to break loose? Wrong!
After KimYe got a hold of the hilarious spoof created and influenced by them, they could not deny how funny the two comedians were, even if the joke was on them.
“We did get feedback,” Franco explained, “Kim loved the video and we didn’t hear back from Kanye so we kind of felt like he’s not bashing us, but he probably hates it but he’s not going to say anything.”
“But then two weeks ago,” he continued, “we got a call from Kanye. Seth and I were on the phone. We thought he was just going to let us have it. But he loved it. And I’m pretty sure I can say it now because I’m pretty sure it’s not going to happen. He wanted us to perform it live the night before his wedding at Versailles.”
Franco also admitted that although he would’ve loved to perform the skit in front of the notorious ceremony, it would’ve been great for all of 10 seconds but then reality would set in: ‘Seth with his shirt off in front of all the Kardashians.”
