I expected Joakim Noah to have some type of altercation this playoffs, I just expected it to be with a player from an opposing team, not a security guard. Noah has a way of getting under peoples skin, but apparently so does Jackie Miles, the security manager of the Washington Wizards. According to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, Miles tried to force Noah off the Verizon Center floor while the center was finishing his workout during Chicago’s Friday morning shootaround ahead of tonight’s game three between the Bulls and Wizards. His attempt didn’t go over so well.

Miles came onto the Verizon Center hardwood and started screaming for Bulls players to exit so the Wizards could start their shootaround. Noah is usually the last Bull off the court in shootarounds, going through his morning routine, and wasn’t having any of it.

Noah told Miles, “Get the [bleep] out of here, I’m not done … get the [bleep] out of here.”

Miles started firing back with, “Don’t [bleeping] talk to me that way,” and then again telling Noah to leave the court.

Miles words meant nothing to Noah as he stayed on the court and finished his workout at his own pace. According to reports the same thing also happened back in January. Didn’t work our for Miles back then either.

It is cool to be a fan of the team you work for, but know your place. There should be no reason at all that Miles has any verbal contact with players from opposing teams unless it will be in a professional manner. If you walk on the court yelling at players to leave instead of addressing them as men you should be lucky you only got yelled back at instead of punched.
