How ironic. Tyga, the rapper may face criminal charges over HIS tiger, a pet. According to recent reports, once word got out, California officials paid the rapper a visit regarding the possibility of him having a pet tiger. However, upon learning that it was illegal to own a tiger, Tyga sent the cat to a pet sanctuary. Hit the jump for more info.
Although it’s reported that Tyga took great care of the cat, TMZ reported:
According to law enforcement, Wildlife officers picked up the 7-month-old cat at the shelter and transferred it to a state facility for safekeeping … while they investigate.
We’re told Tyga could face misdemeanor charges of possession of a prohibited species … punishable by up to six months in jail.
Hopefully, the fact that Tyga had removed the Tiger from his home will help in his case, but in the meantime, there is currently and investigation going on.
