Brandon Majewski died after being struck by an SUV while cycling with two friends in Toronto in 2012.
One of his friends was seriously injured in the incident.
Sharlene Simon, the driver of the vehicle, is now suing all three boys for the trauma she claims she has suffered since the incident.

How police cleared her of any wrongdoing and it was deemd an unavoidable accident, yet the family is suing her for 900k and her suit is a countersuit. But that story isnt as interesting as the heartless woman with the SUV who kills children and sues their families
Whoever even has the nerve to stick up for this heartless women should be buried along with her. This is absolute insanity, yet nothing will happen with this women. She is suing for nothing she is not emotionally wrecked, or even phased by this. If she was then seeking out money MONEY for a grieving family, would never NEVER have crossed her mind. She should seek forgiveness from these families, especially the young man tragically struck. Speeding was a factor in this case and that was not mentioned in this excerpt. She was speeding on the road, yet her license was not taken away she was rewarded with money. I would like to see this happen to you and you react in the same way sticking up for this woman. She is not even a human being it is absolutely sickening. Don’t you people realize that the Majewski family hasn’t even grieved yet? They haven’t had the damn courtesy given to them and allowed time for grief. Instead they are harassed and sued! by the lady who KILLED their child! What is wrong with the justice system? This is absolutely baffling to me and everybody in this community in Toronto. This lady should be ashamed of her antics and really do some soul searching, and finally let this family in peace and to grieve the loss of their beautiful boy.
