After all the waiting and wondering who would be the first pick of the NFL Draft, it would up being the guy everyone thought it would be. The Houston Texans selected Jadeveon Clowney with the overall top pick. With tears coming down his face he hugged his family and walked up to meet commissioner Roger Goodell. Greg Robinson, Blake Bortles, Sammy Watkins & Khalil Mack rounded out the top 5 picks. Johnny Manziel had to wait quite a bit longer to hear his name. Hit the jump.

Johnny Football fell all the way to the #22 pick and the Cleveland Browns. It might actually work out better for him though because the Browns has been doing all they can this off season to really put a solid team on the field next year. The excitement that Manziel brings alone will have more fans than ever watching the Browns.

Another quarterback who slipped in the draft also might wind up being better for it. Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville was expected to be drafted anywhere in the top few picks all the way until the later rounds. The Vikings traded up to get him with the last pick of the first round and may have found their quarterback of the future.
