The domestic altercation with Carolina Panthers Greg Hardy and his girlfriend Nicole Holder continues to get more bizarre.  Hardy was arrested after allegedly assaulting and threatening Holder.  She claims Hardy was upset because of her short relationship with rapper Nelly while the two were separated.  Hardy was soon released but was ordered to hand over his massive gun collection.

As part of the agreement that allowed Hardy to be freed from jail, Mecklenburg District Court Judge Becky Thorne Tin ordered the All-Pro lineman Thursday to turn over any weapons he owns or has access to.

A Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said a representative of Hardy handed over the firearms Friday morning, including at least six military-type, semi-automatic rifles and three 12-gauge shotguns. The transfer took place at a Sheriff’s Office building on North Tryon Street.

According to Holder, Hardy has between 25-30 firearms between his two Charlotte residences.  Under North Carolina law, Hardy did not need a permit for these types of guns nor is there a limit on how many he can own.
