In light of the recent news that Sherri Shepherd and her husband, Lamar Sally, filing for divorce, information about what is going on in this battle are slowly surfacing day by day.
First it was heard that Lamar wants custody of their unborn child that is being carried by a surrogate and information about their prenup has just surfaced that could be one of the reasons towards their falling out.
Married in 2011, Shepherd and Sally signed a prenup, however, according to reports after the wedding Sally wanted to add some outrageous and almost demeaning changes to the prenup.
Basically Sally wanted to add the following for Shepherd:-
1)”It is my joy to submit to my husband as a way to honor God. Even if my husband doesn’t respond the way I’d like, I will respect him and be loyal to him.”
2)”I enjoy having sex with my husband. I crave intimacy with him and want to be uninhibited and free in our lovemaking together.”
3)”I respect my husband’s opinions and recognize him as the leader of our home. I will always speak well of my husband to others and look for specific ways to compliment his fine character and behaviour.”
4)”MY BODY IS IMPORTANT TO ME. I STRIVE TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY BODY WEIGHT AND EXERCISE AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK. I am more attractive to my husband today than the day we were married”
Not blaming the woman, Shephard refused to the changes!
Seemed more like he wanted more of an ownership that will benefit him than a marriage….
