Last night Serge Ibaka’s dramatic return (he was supposed to miss the rest of the playoffs with a calf injury) helped the Thunder avoid 3-0 series hole by lifting the team to 106-97 win over the Spurs (Spurs now lead the series to 2-1). Well his boo Keri Hilson couldn’t contain her excitement and took to Twitter & Instagram to share her feelings. How cute! So glad these two are back together. Check it out…

Ibaka’s statistics (15 points, seven rebounds and four blocks in 30 minutes) will never measure the true impact of his return, but the meaning behind his miracle moment went deeper for this group than all the rest. Rachina Ibaka had played the motherly role all week long, teaming with Serge’s significant other, singer Keri Hilson, to get big Serge back in working order in time to shock the basketball world.
“God and ice,” Hilson said with a smile when asked how they did it. “God and ice.”
Rachina Ibaka lives in Oklahoma City now, and they’re all one big happy family when Hilson comes to town. But when Hilson hopped a plane came straight from Atlanta in the days after Ibaka was injured back on May 15, the look on Serge’s face said it all about how much work they had to do here.
“As soon as I heard, I didn’t feel comfortable being anywhere else,” Hilson, who is based in Atlanta and Los Angeles and met Ibaka through a mutual friend, told USA TODAY Sports. “Even though he didn’t say it, I knew he needed me. I needed to do anything I could to put a smile on his face. He didn’t have a smile on his face all week. It was very hard. It was really hard. He’s one of the most dedicated people I’ve ever seen in any field, one of the most dedicated people I’ve ever been able to witness. (Rachina) was as much his nurse as I was. She cooks. I do the TLC and cook a little bit. We had to be there for him.”
