Hot 97’s very own Miss Info took a trip to HotNewHipHop where she spoke on the importance and significance of this year’s Summer Jam. While mentioning the amazing list of talent set to perform, she also spoke on each artist’s back story in relation to the historic hip-hop event. Of course Info spoke on Nicki Minaj’s return — especially how things played out during her run with “Starships.” But, in addition, Info also brought back the days of 50 Cent and Summer Jam. According to the site, “I think that even for this year, there’s so many back stories, really rich back stories from 50. This is his first time being on the Summer Jam stage since he was banned, and we all remember very vividly when he was banned, and chairs being thrown and the craziness…So it’s like, what is he gonna do?”
