Pharrell Williams basically owned this past years music scenes, with his infectious oscar nominated song “Happy” to having something to do with almost every hit that tops the charts including “Blurred Lines” and “Get Lucky”. So of course he deserved The Key To The City!

Pharrell went back to his old high school in Virginia Beach, Va and was gifted with the Key To The City! The Mayor of the city, Will Sessoms, was there to present Pharrell the reward and capture it all too for his Facebook!.
In the video you see Pharrell in what appears to be the school’s gymnasium as Pharrell gives an intimate thank you speech.
