If you heard about the 3 year old girl from Mississippi who was kicked out of KFC for the scars she had on her face and body from being attacked by a dog, then you were just as outraged as us. But apparently, the story isn’t true. Or is it? Find out more after the jump!

According to KFC, after two investigations, one internal and one independent, plus watching over hundreds of hours of video surveillance tape, neither produced any evidence that this terrible incident ever occurred.

While Victoria’s family says the story is not a hoax, KFC is still attempting to get in contact with the family and have donated $30,000 to aid in hospital bills.

Rick Maynard, a spokesperson for KFC released this statement:

“Like the rest of America, the KFC family has been moved by the story of Victoria’s injuries and recovery. After the alleged incident was reported to us, two investigations took place, including one by an independent investigator. Neither revealed any evidence that the incident occurred and we consider the investigation closed. We are honoring our commitment to make a $30,000 donation to assist with Victoria’s medical bills. We hope everyone keeps Victoria in their thoughts and prayers. She will certainly be in ours.”
