Started from the bottom (he used to work in Mcdonalds) and how he is here! He now has to be officially THE man of the year! Having an amazing year last year and Pharrell doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. His accomplishments keeping coming well into 2014 and he seems to have another just on the horizon.

After earning a star on the walk of fame AND a Grammy for Producer of the year, Pharrell has now been given the honour to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The invite will exclusively be given to those that the Oscars Academy deems worthy and are distinguished in motion pictures.

The event to welcome new members will be held in September.

Congratulations Pharrell! What a great honour!
