The shocking news was revealed that Jason Kidd requested to oversee basketball operations in addition to his coaching title with the Brooklyn Nets. They declined his request and his relationship with the team is now shattered. It’s all but certain that he will be given a job with the Milwaukee Bucks leaving the Nets to find his replacement. They reportedly already have a couple names in mind.
According to ESPN’s Marc Stein:
Lionel Hollins, George Karl and Mark Jackson are the reported names that have come up in the Nets’ offices.
Lionel Hollins coached the Memphis Grizzlies, George Karl coached the Denver Nuggets and Mark Jackson coached the Golden State Warriors. Each coach did fairly well in the competitive Western Conference.
