After Nicki Minaj had some choice words for female rappers that don’t write their own lyrics during her acceptance speech at the 2014 BET Awards on Sunday, many took it as a diss to the only other woman in that ‘Best Female Hip-Hop Artist’ category that gave Nicki some competition, Iggy Azalea. It’s well known that Iggy’s not the most lyrical of rappers, but her songs are fun and they’re definitely successful, but whether she writes the lyrics herself is up for debate as she’s never really spoke on the matter.

Taking to Twitter just a little while ago, Nicki finally addressed the alleged “shade” she threw Iggy’s way and clarified where she was going with her speech…but she didn’t exactly say that she WASN’T talking about Iggy.
