Nick Young had to be there to support his girl Iggy after the BET awards. By now everyone knows the rumors and whispers that Nicki Minaj threw a shot towards Iggy when she made comments about female rappers not writing their own lyrics and how she was the realest and basically the queen of this rap game. She said she wasn’t talking about anyone specific but people gonna assume what they want anyway. Apparently it affected Iggy after the show but Nick was there to hold her down. Hit the jump.

“Oh man! You know, it is what it is,” Young told reporters at the party this week. “I had to deal with the aftermath when she came home.”
“When she got home and was going through her phone and hearing all the things and people talking trash about her, you know I had to be there for her,” the baller continued. “But you know what, Iggy is doing big things and its scaring a lot of people!”
“She kind of brushed it off!” Young added about the supposed burn. “She don’t let it get to her. She’s number one right now so what can you do when you are at the top right now? Of course they will all come at you!”
Nick is doing what he is supposed to do as a man. Like her or not she is doing her thing right now and is on top as he said. I’m sure her recent success will help her get over whatever she was feeling.
