Creator Ryan Murphy shares the first photo of American Horror Story: FreakShow featuring Sarah Paulson as conjoined twins!
With filming officially underway in New Orleans, Murphy teased fans by sharing the first photo from the highly anticipated fourth season of the hit FX series.
Sporting matching dark brown bobs, dressing in a hospital gown while seated on a bed, Murphy tweeted a black and white image of the back of a set of conjoined twins, played by Sarah Paulson, with the caption, “Dot and Bette’s first day.”
Paulson shared a photo of her character from the front wearing a pink sweater with a gold broach and dangling earrings with troubled expressions, captioned: “So excited to be playing Bette AND Dot this season. Two heads are better than one! #AHSFREAKSHOW”
American Horror Story: FreakShow will take place in Jupiter, Florida in 1950, with Jessica Lange starring as a German ex-pat who manages one of the last freak shows in the United States.
Also returning for the fourth season, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy and Kathy Bates will star as her group of performers. Real-life couple Denis O’Hare and Emma Roberts will also return for the fourth season.
The upcoming season of American Horror Story: FreakShow is set to debut in October.
