I’m actually pretty disappointed in James Harden & Dwight Howard. These two guys are more self absorbed with themselves than they appear. Earlier this month Chandler Parsons decided to sign a new three year contract with the Dallas Mavericks after the Rockets decided not to match the Mavs offer of $46 million. Questions immediately arose about if the Rockets would feel the effects of losing Parsons who was a solid contributor on the team and is on the cusp of all-star appearances. Both Howard & now Harden have kinda thrown Parsons under the bus and downplayed his skills and made themselves seem like they are on a mountain looking down on the rest of their teammates. It got to Parsons so bad that even his brother jumped on twitter and got personal towards Harden. Hit the jump.

Earlier in the month Dwight said the team would not be affected at all by Parsons leaving, which I think is totally false by the way. Then Harden this week said only he and Dwight are cornerstones and the rest of anyone on the team are just role players. Parsons was almost just as important to the Rockets success this season as Harden was. Dwight & Harden are clearly the stars, but they also clearly didn’t do much to help the team get deep in the playoffs. Parsons responded by basically telling Harden to watch his mouth and think before he speaks.

Harden himself is a offensive star but has the defensive skills of a 10 year old boy. Let us also not forget Dwight “cornerstone” Howard has not done much in his career when it comes to winning. Parsons was much more than a role player and the Mavs will now reap the benefit of his skills set.

Maybe Harden & Howard should focus on actually having something to brag about in their career’s besides being the stars and cornerstones like they claim to be. Hit the gallery to see what Parsons brother said about Harden.
