Shanesha Taylor is the Arizona woman who was arrested and charged with endangering her two-year-old and six-month-old children after leaving them in a 100 degree heated car so that she could go on a job interview.

Now released, Taylor stops by the Today Show and talks about that fateful day and what she’s doing with the $115,000 dollars that was raised for her in a kickstarter campaign. “That money is going into a trust account for the children.” Something good has come of all this.

Taylor is also advising others on how to go about things if they ever have to deal with a situation similar to her own. “The message is I understand your family is in crisis, but reach out, seek that help,” she says. “There are the non-profit sectors that have stepped up to fill those gaps and make sure that families that are in crisis are taken care of, so just reach out.” Well said.
