Just when you thought that you couldn’t get enough of Vanilla Ice, he’s back. As you know, there’s a semi live action reboot to the Ninja Turtles series, unlike the most recent animated version a few years back but not quite like the movie run from the late ’80s/early ’90s. In 1991’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze” Vanilla Ice was the rapper featured on the soundtrack. So when with GQ for an interview, he sounded off on his thoughts regarding the most recent line-up of rappers that penned the song for the latest turtle reboot; “Shell Shocked.” Check it out after the jump.

In the interview with GQ, Ice stated, “With respect to all of the artists, the song doesn’t really do it for me. It feels a little artificial. What I mean by that is that it sounds like a bunch of executives in the corporate world put it together. It really does not fit the theme of the Ninja Turtles legend. I think you have to understand, and be a true Ninja, to possess the Magic to really pull off the secret sound.”

Here’s the “secret sound.”
