Mel B. recently spoke with ‘Watch What Happens Live’ host Andy Cohen about her thoughts on the Spice Girls and how the group spilt. Read more on the story below!
On the show Mel B. took the time to talk about her experiences in the group Spice Girls. During the 90’s, Mel B. performed with Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell, which where the other members of the Spice Girls.
She was asked which one of her bandmates is her closest friend by a caller on Andy Cohen’s show ‘Watch What Happens Live.’ She says, “I’m kinda close to all of them but I think it would have to be Mel C cause she’s from up north, where I’m from.” She also squashed the rumor of her not being close to Victoria Beckham and she addressed Halliwell’s departure from the group. It was once believed that Ginger Spice departed because of bad blood with Mel B. She stated, “I don’t think it was my feud…I think she had some stuff going on in her head… I don’t think she could take the pressure. She actually talked about it in her book and she just bounced. But she happened to have left on my birthday…”
