Fruitquana Hawkins is now being charged with murder. Hawkins was inside of Edge Bar and Lounge on Merrick Blvd in Jamaica Queens on June 14th, around 2:35 a.m. when this incident took place. The parolee grabbed a napkin off from Timothy Tripp’s table and all hell broke loose. Tripp throw a whole bunch of napkins at Hawkins, sparking an argument.

According to a source, they overheard Tripp saying “Get your own napkins”! The argument turned deadly and quick when Hawkins pulled out his gun and shot Tripp in the head and chest. Officials said that he died at the scene. Hawkins then fled to Georgia but was later found, arrested and brought back to New York where he was charged with murder, weapon and reckless endangerment and criminal possession.

He was arrested 3 times since 1999, and in 2009 he was sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for an attempted weapons possession charge. He got out in 2011 and went right back just 2 years later for violating his parole. This time, Hawkins will not be coming back!
