Eminem in turn nominated Porter, producer Rick Rubin and Rihanna, who said “Detroit, what you think?” “Should I do it? I’m from the islands; I don’t do this ice shit! This ice shit doesn’t work for me.” In the end, of course, she did accept.

The ALS Association’s rules for the challenge require either getting a bucket of ice water dumped on your head or making a donation. Many people appear to be doing both. So far the organization raised $42 million, according to NBC.
