Steve Ballmer significantly raised the value of every NBA team when he purchased the Los Angeles Clippers for $2 billion.  It had several owners estimating what the worth of their team would be if they decided to sell.  Well there’s one owner we’ll never have to worry about leaving, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

There’s nobody that seemingly loves Dallas Mavericks basketball more than the team’s owner, Mark Cuban. The 56-year-old businessman can be seen sitting court side at Mavs games and cheering like any hardcore fan would.

So, it would be absolutely stunning to many if he sold the team. Cuban was asked if he would ever consider doing so on ESPN Radio (H/T Dallas News) and gave a pretty funny answer.

On if there’s a number he’d listen to about selling the Mavericks:

“Yeah of course. If it was a trillion dollars I’d say yes.”

There’s actually two ways that this could be interpreted. Either Cuban is speaking in literal terms and his answer is basically a humorous way of saying he would never considering selling the team or his point is he’d sell the team if someone gave him an enormous offer that’s well above the team’s value.
