He’s baaack! After an astounding 24 hours, Joe Budden is a free man once again. The rapper turned himself in to police custody yesterday morning, after a warrant was issued for grand theft and larceny when his ex-girlfriend accused him of stealing her cell phone in an argument. Though he was pretty confident it’d be a quick bid upon entering the courthouse (“I’ll be out in time for the strip club later,” he tweeted just before 10am yesterday,) he seemed to be losing his optimism as the day wore on.

“Eating cheese sandwiches, down for the weekend,” Joe tweeted at a little after 1 this morning. “Smh.” However, things worked out in his favor, and by 7am today, he was released. Also, he opted out of the cheese sandwich and went with a large quantity of apples, in case you were worried about his diet. No word on what will go on with the charges from this point, but we’ll keep you updated.
