Although we’re sure there’s no issue whether her friends are white or black, she captioned the photo: “I need some black friends. @heather_parry @iamsarafoster @itserinfoster”

Nicole Richie’s father, Lionel Richie, is black, so we doubt she’s attempting to be racist as much as just state facts.

It’s actually pretty funny!
