We’ve heard from celebrities, sports casters, and even Evelyn Lozada….and now NFL players are publicizing their thoughts on the Ray Rice video.

“That man should be thrown out the the nfl and thrown into jail,” Broncos defensive tackle Terrance Knighton tweeted a few moments ago. “Shame on those deciding his punishment. Smh.”
Knighton continued, calling his fellow players to action.
“As players we must speak up,” he wrote. “Stand up for what’s right. I don’t give a damn who u are or how much money you make. No place for this.
Longtime linebacker Scott Fujita, a former vice president of the NFLPA’s executive committee, had equally harsh words.
“I’m glad no one this morning seems to care about yesterday’s games,” Fujita wrote. “This piece of s— needs to be out of the league. Period.”
The Ravens have gone out of their way to defend and protect Rice’s honor, to the extent of live-tweeting his wife’s apology for getting knocked unconscious. But it’s good to know that members of Rice’s own fraternity of players are willing to say what the rest of the world is thinking.

Wtf was she apoligizing for thats not right she has no reason to apoligize that just battered women sydrom and she needs couceling and he does too wat he did was horrific and seemed to show no remorse in the video dragging her out of the elevator trying to hide it any remorsful person would of been like omg baby im sorry and and sat her up in the elevator and called for help but it looks to me like he continued to verbally abuse her while she was laying there unconsious hes a vicious person with no regard to human life she could of died it only takes one hit to the right place and her life would of bern over such a shame i.hope they both get some help !!
If she had a part in this then she is right to apologize. There is no justification for him to do what he did, not at all. But women don’t have free reign to just do or say whatever they want and use their gender as a shield.
What I don’t understand is why did she marry him? Even if she did smack him first he didn’t have to hit her like that. He needs counseling and she does too. But to ban him from football all together is a bit harsh. One year to complete counseling and anger management. Yes. We all make mistakes. Hopefully they both learn from them.
The Mrs, is no battered woman, she filed no charges and married him weeks later, she took responsibility for her actions as well…domestic abuse goes both ways…i do not consider her a real victim…i’d rather focus on speaking up for real victims, the ones who hide bruies snd broken bones, who fear for their lives and such…this issue is so irrelevant to me and i am pissed that its interrupting my sunday football
