The NFL must not have tried very hard at getting the actual footage because other sources are seeing it with no problem. Last night the Associated Press was able to watch an extended video of the incident — with audio — and got to see more of how it all went down.

…the copy they saw shows more of the startling confrontation between the former Ravens running back and his then-fiancee Janay Palmer.
The extended video included audio, and Rice and Palmer could be heard shouting obscenities at each other. She appeared to have spit at him before he knocked her unconscious with a straight left.
The video was shown to the AP Monday night on the condition of anonymity “because the official isn’t authorized to release it.”
The extended video showed Rice dragging Palmer out of the hotel, and staff members at the now-closed casino saying “She’s drunk, right?” and then, “No cops.” Rice didn’t respond at that point.
