The Sony movie ‘No Good Deed’ beat out “Guardians of the Galaxy” in the movie theaters. The film stars Idris Elba who plays an escaped convict who terrorizes a mother who is played by Taraji P. Henson. It topped the box office with $24.5 million during its opening weekend.
The film “Dolphin Tale 2” came in at second place with $16.5 million, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” came in fourth with $4.8 million, followed by “Let’s Be Cops,” with $4.3 million and “The Drop,” staring James Gandolfini, which was his final role, came in at sixth place with $4.2 million.
