I know there are some students that are feeling really bummed-out about Nicki Minaj not showing up to their school. Last week, officials for LaGuardia High School, located in New York City denied the, “Pills N’ Potions” artist entry into their school.
After questioned why she was denied access, Nicki responded with, “…I guess I’m not good enough.” Apparently, Nicki knew exactly why. The school replied with a letter to the parents of the students who attended the high school.

LaGuardia explained that Ms. Minaj wanted to film her inspirational visit, but a film crew would be against the policies of the NYC Department of Education.
In a letter released by LaGuardia School:
“The fact is that Ms. Minaj was told by the NYC Department of Education that she would not be allowed to enter the school with a television crew,” the letter states. “The DOE has policies in place to protect the privacy and security of all its students. I’m sure we all appreciate the strict enforcement of these policies with regard to the safety of our children.”
Can’t break the rules, even for Nicki Minaj.
