I know many ask, can Wale get any deeper – I’m sure he can. The Album About Nothing is to reach, “the core” as he would call it. After feeling rejected in more ways than one throughout his musical career, the MMG emcee digs into another bag to pull out this upcoming project.

During his latest behind-the-scenes piece, The Vlog About Nothing, Wale talks about his purpose for this album. “My release date, it has to be an event,” Wale says. “If this works, then we change the game,” he adds. Wale is doing this for, “the core” of the people that he wants to let know, it’s not about a top five record – there is no chasing charts. The album will be for hip hop…in other words, about everything else!
