It seems every NBA player that’s having trouble ends up signing in China and usually they find success there, most notably Stephon Marbury. Next up on the list is Michael Beasley.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Beasley has left Memphis Grizzlies training camp and is signing with the Shanghai Sharks in China.
Other players who have left for China this year include Metta World Peace, Andray Blatche and Jordan Crawford. What’s the appeal over there? Well I’ve heard from several players that China pays significantly more than other overseas teams.
