Boston Celtics forward Evan Turner was ejected from their game against the Toronto Raptors last night after he tossed the ball towards a referee.
Now I watched the video several times and it didn’t appear malicious but Turner should have noticed that the referee was reporting a call to the scorers and was not paying attention to catch the ball. It was obvious that the ball would hit him. The ejection seemed more like a reminder to keep the players in check.
Now if you want to see a ball blatantly thrown at ref look towards Turner’s new teammate, Rajon Rondo.
