Kicking off the college basketball season, each school has realized that Midnight Madness is more like a show and pep rally rather than a practice.  Kentucky brought out Drake and Texas Tech had their own coach come out on a motorcycle dressed as Shaft.  Memphis had Rick Ross perform a 30-minute set to a sold out crowd at the 18,000-seat FedExForum.  Several recruits were in the building and National Signing Day is approaching, soon we’ll see which spectacle paid off.
