IFWT_Oldest photo
An image has surfaced which is believed to be the oldest photo of a human. Taken by Louis Daguerre the image was said to have been taken in 1838!!

Simply incredible! French photographer Louis Daguerre was a man ahead of his time. Daguerre was said to have pioneered a technique called daguerreotype, which uses a silver plate or silver covered copped plate to capture photos. Reports say the photograph had been online but recently resurfaced when a website Retronaut resurfaced the importance and legitimized the photo. In the photo you can see a lone man in the left corner getting his boots cleaned. The buildings and backdrop are visible but its also reported that the streets are empty because the carriages were said to be moving too quickly for the shot (Comical!). Historic items like this should be cherished, especially in a time where technology is everywhere. We have Instagram, Twitter and Facebook it seems the overall beauty can sometimes be lost.
