The first family of reality is coming back to television. Sharon Osbourne revealed on The Talk Tuesday (November 11) that The Osbournes are returning to the small screen.
Sharon revealed on her show that her husband Ozzy Osbourne, son Jack Osbourne and daughter Kelly Osbourne will all return to the series, which is hoping to start filming in early 2015 and wE!ill not air on its original network, MTV.
Sharon referred to “The Osbournes” comeback as an “update” on the family’s life since the ending of their reality show in 2005.
“At most, there will only be six to eight episodes and a catch-up on our lives and where we are now, because it’s been so long since we’ve been seen as a family and our family has grown,” she said. “We have a granddaughter and a gorgeous daughter-in-law.”
So after almost a decade off the air, why is the Black Sabbath singer and his family returning to reality TV? Sharon revealed it was Ozzy’s decision.
“It was all my husband’s doing,” she told her co-hosts. “He looked back on his life and he said, ‘I wish we could have done The Osbournes now where I’m clean and sober.'”
This is great news! It’s going to be great to catch up with the Osbourne clan, especially Ozzy.
