As terrible as the Knicks are, they will always have die hard fans.  This man however takes fandom to another level.  He actually quit his job so he can go to all 82 Knicks games this season!

Dennis Doyle is a lifelong Knicks fan who quit his job as a lawyer this year, dispensed $20,000 and has decided to attend all 82 of the team’s games this season. Yes, this man quit his legal job to follow his favorite team across the country all year. Yes, that team is the New York Knicks, who are 3-8 through the first 11 games of the season.

Doyle, 31, says he knew the consequences of his actions beforehand.

“I knew there was a chance that this could be a really awful season,” Doyle told The New York Times. “I asked for it, I guess.”

Good or bad, Doyle, who lives in Queens, ties this adventure to his own life experiences, especially an ongoing passion for writing. He started a blog, The Oakman Cometh: A Season with the New York Knicks, to chronicle his travels and impressions throughout the year.

As the Times explains, Doyle already has made more road trips than Jose Calderon and Andrea Bargnani, two Knicks players who have struggled with injuries in the early part of this season. His family has apparently been supportive of both him quitting his job and him shelling out the expenses for tickets and travel, though the Times relates that his father still sends him job listings from legal journals.
