Finally! Jen From BK and HOT 97 would like to present a new series called Ladies First. A show that highlights women that transcend in music, television, art, and more. Ladies First sets to inspire and empower our female audience, while bring femininity to HOT 97. It’s not an all-boys club anymore lol.
Ladies First kicks off it’s new series with Atlantic Records recording artist Lauriana Mae. Residing from New Jersey and has been singing since she can remember.
As Lauriana gears up to release her EP, this rising star sits down with Jen and talks about how she was on Diddy’s show MTV’s Starmaker, almost had a song with Ceelo featured on the blockbuster movie Twilight soundtrack, and more.
Lauriana Mae gives us the pleasure of performing an acoustic version of “Proteck Ya Neck” live in out studio which samples Wu Tang, and can be heard on Real Late with Rosenberg.
I have to say, I love her voice.
