Yikes, Fergusons Grand Jury Still Has No Answers!

As the Ferguson Protests continue, the Grand Jury has yet to make a decision on whether or not police officer Darren Wilson should be indicted for the unlawful murder of teenage Michael Brown that occurred on August 9th this year. The public is extremely disappointed about the amount of time it has taken for officials to end this case; they want answers!

Comments from the community have been taken in regards to the delay; 25-year-old Brandon Turner who works at a barber shop located on ground zero for the protests after Brown was shot exclaimed, “I just think this is crazy… A young man was killed on the street in broad daylight. I am surprised it has taken so long. I’ve got a lot of clients and they’re all in shock.”

39-year-old Cipriano Medina, who was visiting friends in Ferguson, made a statement to the news saying:”Everyone’s on edge…There’s a lot of anxiety. We don’t know when it’s going to happen. We just want justice for the whole system. I think it’s bigger than Mike Brown.”

Due to the open case, and rampant protests, store owners boarded up their establishments doors and windows on Fergusons main road. The anticipation and fright of what might happen is undeniable at this point in time. President Obama recently made a statement regarding the violence in Ferguson, and his exact words were: “This is a country that allows everybody to express their views, allows them to peacefully assemble, to protest actions that they think are unjust,” Obama told ABC News in an interview broadcast Friday.”But using any event as an excuse for violence is contrary to rule of law and contrary to who we are.”

Stay tuned for an update on the Michael Brown case.
