Experts reveal many stunning irregularities in the Mike Brown investigation that emerged from the grand jury report. One of the irregularities is that Darren Wilson was allowed to drive back to the police station completely unescorted. Wilson also submitted his gun into evidence himself. Many interviews between Wilson and investigators were not recorded immediately after the shooting occurred. There were also no measurements taken at the scene. Before arriving at the scene the examiner determined that “it was self-explanatory what happened. Somebody shot somebody. There was no question as to any distances or anything of that nature at the time I was there.” Wilson was also allowed to wash all of the blood off of his hands before any crucial evidence could be collected from him.

Because of the crime scene protocol violations, much of the important evidence was either altered or destroyed. Many standard procedures in a case such as this one were completely ignored and having such information could completely change the whole investigation.
