He initially gave the team a spark on offense, immediately leading the Browns on an eight-play, 80-yard touchdown drive. However, his second drive nearly ended in catastrophe, much to the Internet’s delight.

With the Browns facing 3rd-and-6 on their own 18-yard line with just three minutes remaining, Cleveland’s center snapped the ball before Manziel was ready. The rookie quarterback attempted to limit the damage by throwing the ball away, but it bounced off a Bills defender and was recovered in the end zone by Buffalo.

Manziel, meanwhile, stayed on his back in the end zone after getting trucked.

The play was initially ruled a fumble and a touchdown, but after review, it was ruled an incomplete pass.
