IFWT_Corey Brewer 2

Okay I get it, traveling isn’t called very often in the NBA but this was an egregious miss by the referees.  During the Minnesota Timberwolves game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night, Corey Brewer made his way down the court with no regard for the rules.

As the minutes for the  first quarter was winding down, Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Corey Brewer stole the ball from Kevin Durant, which led to a fast break.

Brewer bounced the ball maybe once and took off down the court shuffling his feet and taking a few more steps before he eventually elevated to take the open dunk with Reggie Jackson in pursuit.

I couldn’t even count how many steps he took but it looks like six or seven.

Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 111-92.  Corey Brewer finished with six points, five rebounds and eight assists in 37 minutes of play.  Kevin Durant finished with 16 points, four rebounds and five assists.  Russell Westbrook had a game-high 34 points along with six rebounds and six assists.  The Thunder are surely happy to have Westbrook and Durant back; they currently have a five-game win streak and are working their way up the standings in the Western Conference.  The Timberwolves however remain at the bottom.
