Floyd Mayweather finally answered the call and challenged Manny Pacquiao to fight him on May 2nd.  It’s a bout that Pacquiao has been practically begging for, so what did he say when Mayweather finally agreed?  Simple, “Shut up and sign”.

A few hours after Mayweather’s interview, Pacquiao apparently appeared irritated, and tells Mayweather, “Shut up and sign,” Pacquiao said via Spin.ph.

Pacquiao remains skeptical on whether or not Mayweather truly wants the fight. Pacquiao told AFP he won’t believe Mayweather’s statements about wanting the fight until the contract is signed, sealed, and delivered. However, even if Mayweather’s desire’s are fake, Pacquiao thinks he may not have anywhere else to go, “He has reached a dead end. He has no where to run but to fight me.”

As I pointed out in an article earlier today, the big fight still may not happen even though Mayweather somewhat agreed.  But Pacquiao is wrong, Mayweather does have somewhere to go.  As I said, Amir Khan looked fantastic in his unanimous decision win last night and that gives Mayweather more incentive to fight him.  Like Pacquiao, Khan has incessantly called out Mayweather and demanded a fight between them.

Pacquiao does have the right to be skeptical about the fight happening as Mayweather has switched up numerous times before.
