Things were crazy in the basketball world on Monday night. The Cleveland Cavaliers traded Dion Waiters to the Oklahoma City Thunder and received J.R Smith and Iman Shumpert from the New York Knicks in a three-team trade. Shortly after that announcement, the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Cavaliers 95-92 securing just their fifth win of the season.
Rookie Joel Embiid who tried to recruit LeBron James to the Sixers when he was a free agent, took the opportunity to poke fun at the NBA superstar.

LeBron didn’t play last night as he’s out for two weeks due to knee and back injuries. The team has been under heavy scrutiny as they haven’t played as well as expected. They lost four out of their last five games and there’s been rumblings that their rookie coach David Blatt will be fired. The Cavaliers however have stuck by him saying it’s “not a vote of confidence” but his job security is not in question at the moment.
Clearly we’ve all been saying it’s early and they have time to get it together but with the pivotal All Star break coming which marks the turn of the season, you have to wonder if they ever will get it together in time.
