Earlier this week, TLC launched a Kickstarter campaign, looking for fans’ donations to help create their fifth and final album. The ladies set a goal of $150k to cover recording expenses, features and the like…and in just 48 hours, they’ve not only reached their goal, but they’ve gone above and beyond it! With 27 days still left to go, T-Boz and Chilli are currently at $179,442 from 1,634 backers (one of which is the one-and-only Katy Perry!) [This is as of Thursday, January 22nd at 2pm EST.)
The ladies plan to let the campaign rock until its last day, so I’m curious to see how much they end up raising!
