Innocent Man Freed After 37 Years In Prison. Stories like this really makes me think about the amount of innocent people in jail or prison right now, knowing they did not commit the crime they’re being charged for but because no one else believes them, their lives are literally wasting away.
This man was charged with the killing of a mom and her daughter when he was at the age of 33 and now that he’s 70 years old, he’s been found not guilty of the crime and released from prison. Imagine that, 37 years of this man’s life wasted just like that. He went into prison at the age where he’s supposed to begin prospering in life and having a family but instead he missed out on that and got out at an age where he could be a grandfather. This is why I continue to hope and pray that the justice system thoroughly reviews each and every case they get because you can’t play with people’s lives. Some are wrongly accused due to wrong time, wrong place while some are just due to plain old stupidity. I hope more cases are being reviewed in hopes of freeing more innocent lives like this man.
