Bobby Shmurda

Right when good news was hitting this is just getting messier and messier. Now Bobby Shmurda’s Uncles Blast Hip Hop for Lack of Support, asking where all the people who were showing their nephew love when it was all good–have disappeared to. Definitely a good question, but…

Bobby Shmurda’s Uncles Blast Hip Hop for Lack of Support as the Brooklyn GS9 “Hot Ni**a” is still in Rikers prison, with $2-mil bail still in queue waiting to be paid after nearly two months (the label was originally going to pay it SMH), and even with reports the gun charges will be dropped. The uncles doing the blasting here including manager Debo Wilson are the same uncles from the previous story of Bobby not accepting their visits, proposals, or offers to clear the bail due to alleged shady behavior. In addition sources cite “reports also swirling that Wilson is filing a million-dollar lawsuit against his nephew for legal charges due to allegedly cancelled concert dates.”

While it’s getting harder to know what’s fact and what’s just a “swirling report” Bobby Shmurda’s Uncles Blast Hip Hop for Lack of Support, injecting at least one moment of real talk among what maybe be argued as a spiel that’s up for debate, or at least more facts and Bobby’s official word on the situation.

“We always was there for him. We put him in the right direction,” said Wilson. “When we left him, his sh*t’s been going downhill. He got all the d*ckriding ni**as in the industry that runs around behind him. They’re not trying to help him. All they’re trying to do is live off his fame. Now he’s locked up. Where all those artists at? Where they at?”

That’s real tho…Bobby Shmurda’s Uncles Blast Hip Hop for Lack of Support airing out feelings that Bobby is taking his gang and industry stature over his family. Some would however point out people like Meek Mill and Migos have continued to be there for him. It’s also awkward to hear since Shmurda always talked about getting in the rap game to provide for his father and family. –But the uncles also condemn media outlets for “running with a story that’s factually inaccurate” and could cost them their reputations. True it definitely could and that’s no small thing. But also true, most media outlets report on the available facts, ie. we report what we see. Facts are usually the undeniable nouns. Digressing on a positive note…

Hopefully Bobby and his family can get out of this mess with the least scars to themselves and their careers as possible. It’s never a light thing being in prison nor having facts against you. Check the vid for the full interview.
