Stacey Dash Says College Rape Victims Are ‘Bad Girls’ Who Party. Is she ‘Clueless’ Or Nah?. Stacey voiced her opinion on Fox News about the UVA rape scandal started by a controversial feature in Rolling Stone magazine. Sexual assult is a huge issue on college campuses and universities across the country. School officials and students are trying to develop strategies and policies to combat this issue. Many school’s like UMASS Dartmouth are even considering banning alcohol on campus all together. A school in Washington DC created an app to offer support to victims. Did Stacey jump out the window with her statement? Can you really classify the rape victims as “Bad Girls”? Has she even stopped to think about the male victims? It has been reported that more males in the military deal with sexual assault. Check out the updated story after the jump.

Stacey Dash apologizes after she received a lot of backlash from her comments. People were offended and felt she was blaming rape victims and labeling them all “Bad Girls.” The ‘Clueless’ actress took to Facebook to apologize for her behavior.

“After a failed attempt at humor about ‘good girls’ and ‘naughty girls,’ during my recent appearance on Outnumbered, I transitioned to the very serious issue of men blaming alcohol for their vile behavior. LET ME BE CLEAR: I am a victim of physical and sexual abuse. My point was that there IS NO EXCUSE for a man taking advantage of women under any circumstances. I believe that these universities focusing on alcohol consumption as a means to stop evil behavior takes the focus off the real issue of the objectification of women and how that can be prevented. I apologize to anyone who believed I was blaming the victims of these horrible acts.”

What are your thoughts? Do you think this was a sincere apology or is she just trying to clear her name?

The other bad girls–bad women–are the ones who like to be naughty, might go out and play and get hurt and then, you know…But the other thing about this is that it then blames the alcohol instead of the person who over-drinks. So it’s like, the same thing with guns. Guns don’t kill people; people kill people. Alcohol doesn’t get you drunk; you get yourself drunk.

Wow that’s a bold statement for a 48 year old woman who has never lived on campus. She has no concept of college life, or dorm living. A “Bad girl” in Hollywood and a “Bad girl” on campus are two totally different things. This isn’t the first time she’s spoke about situation she has no experience with. The “Clueless” actress added her two cents when Kanye compared paparazzi and rape “Go to Rikers for a little while and then he’ll know what rape is.” She also tried to check Jay- Z and Beyoncé about their trip to Cuba.
What are your Thoughts? Clueless or On point?
